So I have been googling this all evening and asked my DF who had no idea, and really I just need some help! I am leaving tomorrow morning for a cruise wedding and have nothing to wear. I was wondering whether it would be appropriate to wear dressy shorts, heels, and a nice top??? Or do I need to wear a dress? I have been ripping my closet apart but because we have been to so many weddings over the past year and I don't want to keep getting photographed in the same dresses! I know in most circumstances shorts are not appropriate for a wedding, but are shorts a definite no-no for a cruise wedding??? Any last minute input is much appreciated, I leave in 7 hours!!!! Also, the wedding is a second marriage for both people, and we are not sailing, if that makes any difference!
but a sundered or simple dress you can wear flats or heels and vary Tge hair do/accessories to be more relaxed or more formal. If I knew the groom were wearing say a Hawaiian shirt, khakis, I'd totally do dressy walking shorts or something.
