Appreciate any input in narrowing down accommodation choice

Hi everyone,

My family of 4 is headed to WDW in October, and I am trying to narrow down our choices in where to stay. I am looking at the following places and was wondering if anyone has stayed there and could provide me more information about cleanliness, safety, space, and proximity to Disney.

1. Lake Buena Vista Resort Village and Spa
2. Holiday Inn Club Vacations
3. Embassy Suites LBV South
4. Blue Heron Beach Resort

My husband and I were hoping for a separate living area, so we can unwind after the kids had gone to bed, at least a mini fridge so we can stock up on some snacks and drinks, and a laundry would be a definite bonus. I had read reviews on Trip Advisor, but was looking to see what everyone here thought.

Lake Buena vista is not far at all from Blue Heron. LBV is right by an outlet mall. I haven't stayed at eithier but know people who have. My brother loves LBV and a friend stayed at blue heron. She said the rooms were smaller and bunks outside of the master bdrm.
We have stayed at holiday inn orange lake twice. We loved it. The are all great locations.

We were down last June for mu DDs volleyball tournament and her team was booked into the Embassy Suites LBV South. It was a nice hotel - new- very clean. I recall being surprised at how much I liked it (Im picky). However, it did feel quite a distance from WDW (to me). It faced a road (I dont know the name) which was a busy street with strip malls, etc. Traffic was a little heavy in the area. When her tournament ended we moved closer to Disney and stayed another 8 nights in Bonnet Creek area. To me, that felt like Disney.

Also, the pool....it was small and was surrounded by a wall because it was sort of in the parking lot area...and the chair area around the pool is barely large enough to hold the chairs. If you care about the pool, look into that.
