appointments for license?

I could swear I read somewhere that you could make an appointment to get your marriage license, but now I can't find it anywhere. Am i crazy? Has anyone else done this?

we got our marriage license at the Oceola County Courthouse and didn't make an appointment. we had to wait our turn, of course, and then when they called our names, we applied and got our license.

We werent able to make an appointment. It was walk in only. We got ours at the Courthouse in Kissimmee. Waited 5 minutes! We got there right before they opened in the morning and and there was noone else there! It was great. I did hear from others - that there can be a big wait at times. My suggestion, go early!

We didn't have an appointment to get ours either! We just walked in, waited about an hour or so for the whole process and were then on our merry way!
