Applying for SW CC..?

How long after you applied for the new SW credit card did you get any info? I applied a week ago or so and have heard nothing...

I believe it's a Chase card. I've got two other Chase cards, both with over a $20,000 limit and excellent credit. So, I'm not really worried about being denied. But, this is taking longer than I thought it would.

I plan on making a deposit on a spring break cruise. I have the cash, but will make the deposit on a CC and then pay in full...wondering how long till the card gets here..

There have been quite a few posts lately about the SW card. They are changing things back to their old ways, which is great news, and that all starts March 1. They have been sending tons of info out to existing card members like myself but also trying to get new members. With their great deal they are offering I think a lot of people are applying. Anyway, another posted on their thread it took about 10 days to receive the card after they applied online. I think you should be able to call them and inquire about the status of your app, and yes they are Chase.

I have many of their cards and I close and re-open frequently With such a high line of credit they may decide to call you and ask if they can lower one of them to approve you. They have done this to me in the past. I applied for the business one last August to get the 1 free RT plus gift cards and now I'm going to go back and apply for the personal one to get the 2 rt. I've opened and closed the SW one probably three or four times!

I got one last summer. I applied online. The card showed up 2-3 weeks later.

I knew that I had been approved immediately after submitting the application. The account details showed in my online Chase account a couple of days after that. It took about a week from the time I applied for the card to arrive in the mail.

It took at least a couple of weeks for the card to arrive.

I didn't get instant notification or an e-mail . So after about a week, I called the customer service number and put in SS# and a recording said I have been approved.

I'm just surprised no e-mail or anything until the card just arrives in the mail. They must be busy!

That's odd. I applied on the 9th. I got a "Congratulations" screen as soon as I submitted my application online. I got an email notifying me that my card was mailed a couple of days before it arrived.

Maybe it's because I already had a Disney Visa with Chase and I used my online information to autofill the application?

I applied a week or 2 ago and have not heard anything either. I signed up through the 2 RT Tickets promo but currently am not signed up for the SW Frequent Flyer Program. Did I need to do that first or will they automatically sign me up?

I applied tonight for cards for both me and DH. Both came up right away as approved. We will see if they go thru. DH has most of the income, but I have the heavy credit history (current balance 0)

I just looked at Chase online. I've been approved and the card shows up in my info. I never got any email or anything...just want to get the card, put the deposit on my cruise and get my two free tickets!
