I am a complete newbie to Apple Watch. Are there any benefits using it at UO such as tickets linked or anything?

ETA: I am a newbie to UO too. I know at Disney you can use it to scan in certain things but wasn’t sure if UO offers that as well. I didn’t set up the Wallet feature in the app yet. Maybe it’s in there.

unfortunately there isn’t much Universal specific stuff for the Apple Watch right now…but I do love my watch for the parks!

I mainly use the Infograph Modular watch face to show hourly weather, stopwatch so I can track wait times, % chance of rain, calendar so I can see the next “appointments” (I add show times or dining reservations to my calendar), and obviously the time! I also pay for almost everything in the parks via Apple Pay on the watch.

I make a photo watch face with my favorite hidden tracks for RRR so I don’t forget the number code since you can’t bring your phone on that ride.

I also use it to track my steps for fun, and monitor my heart rate. I get a little claustrophobic in some ride queues, so the breath app is helpful. I also use it to remotely take a photo without asking a stranger if I prop my phone up somewhere (like against a wall in diagon ally).

Oh and an interactive dinosaur emoji watch face for riding velocicoaster lol.

Hope that helps. I get so much use out of this silly thing

Oh wow! That’s fantastic!! I feel like I’m fairly techy but have a lot to learn with this watch. I didn’t even think to use it remotely for family photos. Awesome! Thank you for the tips. I will definitely make note of them and check it out. That’s great about Apple Pay too.

Of course! I find more ways to use it all the time. It’s fun to tinker with while waiting in line.

Have you ever added Universal gift cards to your Apple Wallet and used those with Apple Pay on your watch in the parks? We are starting to plan our big spring break adventure and there will be lots of gift cards purchased for Christmas gifts.
