I'm hoping for iPod Touch with a camera and microphone (though I've heard technical problems might delay this), the entire Beatles catalogue on iTunes (I'll be shocked if this isn't announced), and the new tablet computer that's been rumored for a while. I'd also like to see Steve Jobs make an appearance. I can't wait to find out for sure!

I was in best buy the other day to buy a Touch and the kid told me to hold off because there would be an announcement of a new 3rd gen touch with a camera, price drop and more gb.
I can't wait to hear also! I want to go buy one!

I just read that they lowered all the prices on all Ipod models.

I just bought the 8g ipod touch 3 weeks ago and it went down $40 oh well.

So the iPod Nano with the video camera? Very nice! Had I not just bought a Flip cam YESTERDAY (I'm a Journalism major taking an internet writing course this semester - I'll be using it a LOT) I'd have gotten this in a heartbeat - not for the iPod (I've got a lovely 2-year old iPod Video that still works haha) but for the camera.

I'm surprised there is no camera on the touch, I saw a leaked photo of it showing the camera. I guess it was a fake
I also thought that they were going to do away with the 8GB and price the 16GB at $199. I read that on several sites, looks like I won't be believeing the rumors from now on.

Any word on a bigger memory for Ipod classic? I was going to buy a 160gb but it got pulled from the market (I have been kicking myself for not getting one ever since). As I get audio books from Audible I am going to need one soon as my 80gb is almost full.

Well I am disappointed that there weren't more major announcements - I had to get offline in the middle of it and hoped to come back to big news. I suspect the rumors of problems with the camera on the Touch were true and that's why that wasn't announced today. I'm really surprised about the Beatles - I had myself totally convinced that would be announced today. At least I can drown my sorrows in Beatles Rock Band.

Are the new microphone and Voice features worth the price differnce??

He was going to buy a $200ish 16GB and now there is no 16GB. The 32 is $299...

Is it worth the difference??

Or, are there more changes I am missing?? Anything more different other than the Voice and Mic?
