If you have the regular Disney Dining Plan, appetizers and tips are not included. You receive 1 counter service, 1 table service, and 1 snack credit per day.
On the Disney Deluxe Dining Plan, appetizers are included, but not tips. You receive 3 credits for meals per day and may use them for either CS or TS or both. You also received 2 snack credits per day plus a refillable resort mug.
I guess I was wondering as the Fantasmic package includes an appetizer so I was wondering if they have a different meal options for those on the dining plan... On the plus side it seems it is included for CRT. Woo Hoo

If you are on the DDP and are getting the Fantasmic Package at Mama Melrose, you get to choose 1 appetizer, 1 entree, 1 dessert, and 1 non-alcoholic beverage.
We just ate there on Saturday with the DDP for the Fantasmic Package.
Thanks for the info. We ate a Mama Melrose for the first time last year. The food was suprisingly good. I'm happy to see that we still get appetizers with the new meal plan at at least one restuarant.

PP stated "DDP" to me that means Deluxe Dining Plan. You get an appetizer with dinner anywhere on the Deluxe plan; nothing special about the Mama Melrose Fantasmic package. If PP didn't meam Deluxe, please correct me.
DDP is Disney Dining Plan DXDDP is deluxe dining plan. As a previous poster said, with the Fantasmic package, even on the regular dining plan, you get an appy, entree, drink and dessert.

Well, on the DIS, the dining plan has been called DDP almost since its inception - Disney Dining Plan. When Disney announced the changes, and the addition of a Deluxe Dining Plan, rather than risk confusion by 'relabeling' the original plan, folks here started using DDP and DxDDP (or, infrequently, DDDP).
Have you looked for information about the Fantasmic! Dining Package? If that package includes an appetizer, it includes the appetizer for everyone participating, no matter how they pay for the meal.
