well my orignal langage was german. then i came to usa when i was young and had to learn english. I had A's with my dad on his friedg allthe time.
Yes I have had to relearn things and ss i just cant get clicked no mtter how many times i look at a word like (thats not right and i try over and over and give up on closest spelling) it hurts some times but im doing fine in every day life and I also have mental problems but that has nothing to do with my spelling

I too assumed that you were from another country. The way you speak did not bother me one bit and I am sorry that this happened to you. The one thing that I have always loved about this board versus others is that it usually is always a happy place. I belong to some others and it is so sad when people can be cruel and hateful. I know this is just the internet but like you I tend to take what people say to heart and I find it hard to just ignore the things people say and tell myself it is "just the internet".

I was hurt very deeply on another board but I hung in there and have been on that board for over 4 years.

The great thing about this place though is that no matter how bad I am feeling about life this place ALWAYS makes me feel good and also everyone here "gets me" LOL. They get my disney "addiction" and it is always "usually" such a fun happy place where everyone is usually in such a good happy mood because we are all usually excited about our upcoming trips are happy to help eachother out with advice etc.

Again I am so sorry that a mean person did that to you. Unfortunately they are everywhere but I am glad that you are still here and don't let someone like that drive you away.

I hope you know that the rest of us appreciate you and don't think the same as that other person!

I too haven't posted for awhile since it seems that there have really been people on DIS who have been, excuse the pun Dissing others that no one ever deserves. Yet they scream for "tolerance" for some people. When I first found this group I was o so happy to find others who would support my craziness when no one else new the magnetic draw that my dear DL has on me. But just a few weeks ago there was a newbie who asked a question and I feel was torn apart by several people, and the posters that tried to make others understand just seemed to fuel the fire. I think the reason Ive always felt so good about this board is because of great people like you who bring such a wonderful DL spirit and share it here with others. I think from reading all your friends responses here that you know you are needed right where you are in this DIS family, Sometimes yes very disfunctional but in the end we are hear to give you, love, and support, and smiles Just remember God created us all as unique individuals. Not perfect ( Thank goodness I wont ever be! ) but loved.

I agree, DIS has always been such a friendly place. Everyone has always been so good at answering questions and offering their support. It has only been as of late that I have noticed the negative posts. Maybe the stars are out of alignment, or something?

Anyhoo, I am going to stick to the board and, JadeDarkstar, glad you are too.
