Just an update--I called back late last night and got one of those CM's who don't exactly understand English. Since it was after 9:30, I did not hang up and call again as I had been on hold for awhile. She was very nice and just kept saying the rate for the weekend did not come up in the system. She did put me on hold for Guest Services, but I was cut off at 10:00. Whatever. I called back again today. The CM told me three times that the AP rate was never available for the weekend nights. I asked to be transferred to Guest Services, who also just kept repeating that AP rates are not available for weekend nights. I am repeatedly telling these people that some people got them and some didn't. I was not demanding the AP rate or anything, just nicely asking why some would get it and some would not. The Guest Services lady told me if I could get cheaper rates booking online to just do that and they would cancel my current reservation with no penalty. Of course, there would be no penalty for cancelling the darned thing anyway. I also thought that Guest Services could see what was available online, but she said not. I asked about AP availability at Riverside. Again the response was that there was never AP rates available for weekends. At this point, I just hung up. There was never any answer given to me except no AP rates on the weekends. I really just love Disney customer service!
