AP upgrade question

we have 5 days left on our park tickets 10 day MYW pass with no expire
can I get these up graded to PAP's and still get the DVC discount

and if so , where do I do this
or would it be better value to keep these tickets and buy new PAPs

You have 14 days from date of first usage to upgrade a used ticket. Your AP/PAP would have an anniversary date based on the first usage of the trade-in.

Whether it's a good value or not depends on what you schedule is for the rest of the year.

Yes, you would still be entitled to the DVC price (with proper ID).

You can no longer turn in partially used MYW tickets to get a dollar credit that can be applied towards the purchase of a longer MYW ticket or an AP/PAP.

You can "upgrade" to a longer ticket or AP/PAP, but only if you do it within 14 days of the first use of the original MYW ticket.

FWIW, getting a dollar credit is not in your best economic interest anyway. MYW tickets are very heavily front end loaded - the last days of a 10 day ticket can be worth as little as $9 or $10 each. Much better to save the remaining days and use them for admission.
