I have an email from guest relations that is allowing me to upgrade my tickets to an annual pass from a trip from January. I can only find one of my kttw cards but do have a print out from concierge from when they added my paper tickets to the card. Will this be enough for them to look up and charge me the difference?

I don't understand.
How many tickets do you still have? (that you have not misplaced.)
How many tickets do you intend to upgrade to AP?

I am upgrading 2 tickets. I still have one of the kttw cards.

You shouldn't have any difficulty doing the upgrade.
Take any paperwork/info that you have, just to be safer.

you went on a trip and bought like a 6day pass and used it and now they are saying they will upgrade the used pass to an AP at a discounted rate?

In some cases, Guest Relations will set up a special guest file to handle pending ticket issues (upgrades, compensations for problems, etc.) the next time a guest arrives on a future trip.

This sounds like one of those situations.

BTW, my 71,000th post was a ticket question.

Who'da thought? ;)

Thanks for the help. Yes its a long story and guest relations is helping us out,

Kind of a side question because I'm curious: is this fairly typical that an offer to upgrade a pass to an AP long after the original ticket is used up, or is it one of those random offers? And I would guess, in this case, that if the ticket was upgraded to an AP now it would expire in January '14, rather than a year from now...correct?

Not typical.

And, I'm sure that the "arrangement" was made much closer to the original trip dates.
And, there is no way to know what kind of arrangement was made, or for what reason,
and there's no way to anticipate what will or won't happen under individual future circumstances.

Yes the arrangement was made in January. I won't get into the details of what happened but Disney was very helpful working with us.
