AP/Table of Wonderland discount?

If I purchase an AP but no one else in my family does, would we all get a discount at the restaurants if I pay the bill? How much does a TIW cost and do most character buffets accept it? Also, if anyone can let me know what else the AP discounts? I think it includes free parking? Thanks for any help.

Only the person paying the check needs to have the card and according to their website, there may be up to 10 people on the check.
