We purchased DVC AP's in January. Used them a couple of times everything was fine. Got home and tried to log into the web site and it says the passes aren't valid. Called / e-mailed Disney - no reponse. Anyone else having problem / suggestions?
We upgraded in Jan and are having the same problem. I called ticket research and they said we have the right numbers but we still can't get on. maybe they are having a larger problem than they realize. You could try calling ticket research. I think I will let them know it is more than they know
I can't get into the site either. My wife and I bought DVC APs 1/15/05 so maybe they're not in the system yet. The ticket frauline (was from Germany) copied info from drivers licenses- so we have middle initials after our first names. The site says to exclude spaces and I've tried both ways to no avail. I'll just try later.
So glad to know that it isn't just me! We bought 4 annual passes on 1/2/05 and asre still unable to access the site. No response to my e-mail to Disney...
You know I have called twice, emailed twice, etc... Their only answer is to KEEP TRYING?!? Sorry... Nothing is going to change without human intervention... Obviously it would appear that I am not the only one, but rather this is a problem with the DVC AP's as a whole. In the past I would have expected at least a transfer to someone, or an "I'll follow up on that for you", but this inaction is new for me..... I won't even begin to relate the experiences I had on my last trip down when CRO had our reservation wrong (only 1 room vs 2 booked) and we were offered nothing to compensate other than a room at 5 times the price I booked (really!).. I sent e-mails and letters, but nothing back.... I'm really worried that customer service (the entire reason I am willing to pay more to go to disney) is tanking.... Beginning to regret the AP purchase altogether!
I e-mailed a very long message today about this problem. I referenced Disboards and the name of this thread and told them they have the makings of a real large problem on their hands. i suggested that they read this thread and work on giving us a plausable solution. I do think that this has something to do with the fact that they were issued in January. It seems that those are the only ones that are having problems. I will let you know if/when I get a response to my e-mail. Hopefully WDW will get this resolved more quickly now that they know it is not a individual situation, but I won't hold my breath
At times, I've not been able to access it with my AP# but could with my daughter's.
For sometime now, I've been able to get on with my # but it says my AP expires in Feb. when it actually won't expire until October.
We did not buy our APs with the DVC discount. It is a problem with the AP site in general and there have been problems since the site was established. Frustrating for sure. But there really hasn't been info there that you can't get here.
If you have more than one AP, try another #. Good luck.
Question for you though. I was led to believe that I could check resort avail using AP discount through that site... That is pretty much the ONLY reason I want in. Can someone confirm or deny?
No, you cannot check AP rate availability through this website. They list the general dates for discounts but not the resorts or rates. There really isn't anything more than what is on this site:
And often info on a new round of AP discounts can be seen here on the DIS before the AP site is updated. One time recently however, I did get an email about new AP discounts before there was news on the DIS and the AP site had been updated too. So there is hope.
