AP room discounts in the spring?

We're planning a trip for April (arriving two weeks after Easter - well after Easter week). This will be the first time we will have AP's, and we're trying to figure out the best option for housing. Do they ever have AP room discounts at this time of year, or are we likely to be looking at rack rates for resorts? Thanks for your input!

I have had an AP for the past 2 years and we have never had a problem getting a room discount. They are released very close to the time we plan to travel though. I would guess on average we book our trips 30 days out, but we do try to plan our dining in advance.
