Our son has an AP that he used for a trip earlier this year with the grandparents. We are heading down in early December and the rest of us will be using 7 day hopper passes while he is still using his AP. My questions are 2: Can we (our family of which he is a member though only 5 years old) book a room using his AP as proof of AP ownership and if we decide to stay off-site use his AP for complimentary parking at the parks? Thanks for info on this subject.

NOt sure about any of this, but I thought I read somewhere that to get a room discount, it has to be an adult AP. Hopefully some of the AP experts will post for you regarding this issue and the parking one.

I believe that the person making the room reservation must be the AP holder, and that you must be over 18 to reserve a room, so, logic dictates that you can't use your son's AP to get a discount. However, it wouldn't hurt to call CRO and ask, you may be surprised!

(P.S. - I don't think the cost difference is much between a 7-day hopper and an AP, so it may be worth buying an extra adult AP to get the discount, after doing the math).

And nope

The only official requirement is that the AP holder stays in the room. It can be a child AP. That is not a problem. I personally have not done this, although, I have been told by CRO that it is legit. I am not sure about the parking although I would suspect that the same thing applies.

There is only around a $40 difference between the 7 day hopper and the AP. My wife and I decided on purchasing AP's over the 7 day hoppers because with the extra discounts we got on the room over the regular codes we came out almsot even in the end. Plus we have the AP's if we decide on a return trip within a year.

There have been conflicting things mentioned about this. I would call CRO and ask them.
