Will Universal send me an order form/reminder when it's time to renew my AP?

Also, when I renew will I get a voucher again that will expire a year from activation? Or is it like Disney the time keeps ticking from my original anniversary date?

I sure don't remember getting one. Which is not to say that they didn't send it.

When I was down there recently, I discovered my AP had expired a few months earlier and I was, therefore, ineligible for the renewal rate. But the young women who took care of me at Customer Service was kind enough to dig up a coupon that let me get two years for $181.

I don't remember ever having received a reminder. I'm pretty sure that Universal now operate the same way as Disney. However, they are currently offering a $70 discount for renewing your AP:

Not sure if this is a special offer, or the regular discount for renewing. My AP expires in May.

Also, in the Passholder section of their website (accessible by inputting information from your pass), it states that Online Renewal is 'Coming Soon'.

Do you think it would be possible to renew my annual pass that expires in October,with the get one year free offer?

I guess that would be too greedy

Would it be better to buy the annual pass with one year free than re-new my annual pass?Can I do this

does the ap start when you buy it or activate it also the pay by month plan is that always there or just for a short period of time?
