AP Renewal

My Florida Resident Seasonal AP expires on 9/12/14. I renewed online already since it is easier to set up the monthly payments online.

I will be at the park from 8/28-9/1. Can I pick up my new AP then? If I can, do they still expire next 9/12/15? I can also pick them up when we return in October if it makes a difference.

Finally, other than to get the AP discounts on merchandise do I need to pick up the AP at all or are they linked to my band automatically (they already show up on MDE)

1. Yes, your renewal will expire on 9/12/15.
2. Since it is a renewal, nothing will change the anniversary date.
3. I'd certainly pick up the actual AP ticket. For the reasons you mentioned,
and as a back-up for the MagicBand, just in case.

We have annual passes as well but expire 11/26, this was our first year getting the passes. I have heard there is a discount for renewal, can someone tell me what that is? Hoping to convince my husband to renew and I know a discount would help my case!

The AP renewal rate is roughly equal to about one month's worth "discount" off of the new AP price.

Current prices (including tax):

Reg AP (new) $ 675.21
Reg AP (renew) $ 574.04

Premium AP (new) $ 803.02
Premium AP (renew) $ 680.54

Thanks. I figured as much. Every other renewal we have picked up after the old one expired (obviously the date did not change as you mention since measured from original date) but was not sure if I could pick up before.

I can not create fastpasses after the expire date until I have picked
up my AP renewal at the gate. (and shown my Florida DL).

I have paid in full for my renewal, but we get sent Vouchers that we have to
show with our Florida DL. (This is only for Florida Resident AP's.)

Luckily for us, we are going in a week, just for the weekend, so I will present my
florida DL and voucher and get my newed AP. Then I will finish my fastpasses
for Sept.

We are booked at a WDW resort during the AP anniversary, but when we tryed to do our Fastpasses, it would not allow us to do so, past the anniversary date.

We called disney and were told we would not be able to until have shown our Florida Driver license for our AP renewal, even though we have already paid in full for it. (Only for Florida Resident AP renewals)

We get a message online saying "no one in your party has valid admission to the parks"
