AP renewal Question

Hi Everyone

Our AP dream Passports are due to expire on December 20th. We are going again on December 23rd this year and were planning to re-purchase sponsored AP's.

My question is , If all 3 of us sponsor someone travelling in late November/early December can the additional time be activated when we arrive to cover us for the 10 days we are there. I believe there is some rule about having to claim the extra period within 30 days).

Also, if that is the case can I then sponsor my Mum who is going with us

I may have mis-read this somewhere and just need clarification from anyone who has done this before or who can read the French literature

You have to extend your passes before they expire. I think it is 30 days before expiry.

You may get a renewal offer through so may get a good deal - first year we got 30 euros off renewal and the second we got 18 months for price of 12 months.

Failing that you could get sponsored and get 10% off or if you are a shareholder you could get 15% off purchase of annual passes

I don't think you can be sponsored to buy a new annual pass if you have been a pass holder in the previous two years. I'm sure that this is on the sponsor form somewhere. I'll see if i can find one and look.

Hopefully you will get a good deal on renewal. and it won't matter

I know when we were there in November our passes expired on 20th and we were there on 23rd and we got 10% off with sponsor forms - however there seems t be no consistancy in the AP office and what happens one is not acceptable the next
