AP Renewal DVC

Help me out! Our DVC AP expired in January and we renewed it prior to it expiring to lock in that great Platinum Plus deal. I can see a “renewal certificate” for each of us on my Disney experience under tickets. However, when I go online to look at rates for annual pass holders on hotel rooms, it will not let me see the rates. Also, when I look under passes and memberships, annual pass holder is no longer there. I suppose because the renewals are not activated.......any way to activate them without being at Disney?

Sadly, I don’t think so. If someone has a way to, I’m not aware. You might not be able to get the annual pass discount until you reactivate your pass.

You can book any available passholder hotel rates by phone if you have an unactivated pass. If the hotel asks to see your pass at check-in and it has not yet been activated, they are supposed to give you 24 hours to activate it.

I recently read a post on the general Disney Resorts board by an AP holder who couldn't see AP room rates online. Someone suggested going to the public resort reservation page and signing in to their MDE account there instead of before they visited the resort reservation page. Apparently that worked - and it just worked for me. If it doesn't work, you'll have to call.
