AP Renewal and Memory Maker

I'm considering renewing my AP when I'm in Disney next month and this might sway me in favor of doing the renewal. I have the older version of the AP, so no MM is attached to my account right now. If I renew while I'm there, will the MM photos be available for download from the visit in the early part of the month or will MM only be available after my AP's anniversary date in late Sept.?

I renewed our APs in May 2016 and old pictures back to Nov 2015 became available to download using the AP PhotoPass download entitlement. Our old APs were ones that didn't have the download entitlement.

I should add that we renewed at the Gold level (available only to FL Residents or DVC Members) which is the lowest level that includes the PhotoPass download entitlement. The Platinum, Platinum Plus & Premier Passport (DL & WDW Pass) also include the PhotoPass download entitlement.
