AP Renewal: 60 Days or 90 Days with Booked Trip

i got a response, with the following in the email:

"Keep in mind, new purchases of Walt Disney World Annual Passes are still unavailable and will resume at a later date. However you are able to renew an existing Walt Disney World Annual Pass, and may do so now by contacting Member Services by phone. Please make sure to contact Disney Vacation Club Member Services for assistance.

Member Services is available Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM ET, and Saturday – Sunday, 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM ET, by phoning (800) 800-9800 or (407) 566-3800."

I called in, initially the CM was happy to proceed, since I indicated i'd like to pay with gift cards, she asked me to merge the cards and call again (they only allow 2 cards per transaction). It is such a bad decision that I hang up, went to deal with the cards!!! 15 minutes later when I called again, after quite some checking, the CM returned with a No, basically she was saying the response I got is a generic one, so it didn't count. It is frustratingly funny, and all the wasted time!!

Mine was a polite no, with the added information that there currently are no issues with sold out parks for the dates beyond my expiration in early March and that with increasing capacity they don’t expect there to be.

So, I just responded that I’d save the email and if I have trouble come January when I have to reserve the same days my family has, then Terri will be hearing from me.
