I agree. It would be interesting to see how much people saved.

With out the huge AP discount vs what the website had, I saved about $2290 by using the AP.

I must say that this figure is not 100 reliable since I wounldn't have reserved the AKL-Savanna with out it and would have stayed at a value or standard room at CBR.

At first, the woman I spoke with said the AP Rates were not available and I was like but they just came out today. She went away for awhile and then came back and said something like they needed to do something special to access the rates. Thankfully, I was able to get the rate. Did anyone else have something similar happen?

I called and got FW cabins for 149.00 per night-was 229.00 per night (Nov 11-16). That is a savings of $400.00 for us! Yea-it will pay for all those character meals we reserved for 8! I really thought Disney wasn't gonna come thru with the AP rates! I guess the waiting paid off-literally!

I was hold 20 minutes this AM. About 8 am cst I was able to book our ressie.

YC water view Dec 4-7 $233 per night.

WL courtyard view December 7-13 $156 per night.

The CM this AM was one of the best that I have made a reservation with.

She asked if we had any preferences to list on the ressie. Like non-smoking king bed etc. Great encounter. I wrote down her name so that I could write a letter for her.

She was also quick and efficient with my ressie so that when I hung up she could quickly go onto the next.

Got CSR for $88/nt including tax! WOW--with that savings we can afford several meals and a rental car!

Oh yeah, called at 8:00 CST and on hold for 15 min. The CM was sooooo nice.

$49 per night (before tax) for Pop Century from 12/25-12/29. That is an unbelievable rate for Christmas!!!!! Then the cast member had to joke that we might be disappointed with this resort because it is so old (it will have been open 11 days upon our arrival - LOL!!). It'll be a fun Christmas for us!!!

We got our days at AKL!!!!!!!!!!!! We have 2 savannah view rooms booked for 3 nights from October 15-18. Originally for a grand total of $1900.00 with the AAA discount and tax. Our new rate is $1198.00 including tax.

Wilderness Lodge woods view $125 per night plux tax Dec. 14-17

Grand Floridian garden view $199 per night plus tax Dec. 11-13

BoardWalk Inn garden suite $377.99 per night tax included Dec. 17-20

Grand Floridian honeymoon room $450.46 per night tax included Dec. 14-17

I saved about $1300!!!

I'm getting married at WDW, so I have ressies for my bridesmaids the night before my wedding, my parents, and my honeymoon (splitting stay).

I got the Poly this morning for $250.80 (with tax) a night for our 5 night total of $1254. This is for lagoonview.

We had the Winter Dream Maker Pkg. booked, but with buying park hoppers for DH and 2 DD's and my ap (with DC discount) I'm still saving $81. I'll take it. At least it's worth an extra character meal.

I won't talk about how long I was on hold for and the fact that I had to call back a second time and be on hold again. But it does get the juices flowing though doesn't it?

Called at 5:40pm was on hold about 10 mins and got AKL standard view $129 including tax from 12/21 to 12/26....not to bad...

I called at 5:00 pm and nothing was available for POR-Nov.2-8. After all this waiting for the AP rates boy was I disappointed but what can you do! I guess this was my last chance for any kind of discount since I'm assuming there wont be any room only discounts for the general public. I'm bummed!

I had a ten minute wait at 9 pm, but there are no rates available for Dec 5 to 11 at AKL, Poly or Contemporary. I even tried concierge. There are rooms available but not at a discount.

I was hold at 6:10 CT for about 50 minutes. Had to hang up and get ready for work. Turned on cell and inserted earbud and started out to work. Beep, darn, hope I don't loose the call. Answered the beep (put CRO on hold) my best Disney friend calling to say she got through and there were discounts at FW cabins. I had reserved at rack rate a while back and really waiting for a discount. Hung up and still had Disney music playing in the background no disconnect. Whew!!! 45 minutes later a voice came on and I quickly asked to the AP rate and she said I was in luck and made the tranfer for me. $134 plus tax. I am doing the happy dance tonight.

but these rates were too good to pass up!! So I called about 9:20 this morning and was on hold about 20 minutes. I couldn't get any moderates for the dates we wanted and the AS were sold out, but we were able to get PC for $54/night including tax. We'll be there 12/26 through 1/2.

I'm soooo excited as this will be an extra trip we weren't planning!!!

does any one know why one POR was 79 and the other 88? I thught Dec was value and thanksgiving not.

I'm on the phone now and was quoted $300 even including tax for a DELUXE room at WL, October 19-23.

A great price, I think, for that type of room.

They also said that courtyard view was available for those dates.

I wasn't going to call because we are DVC members but I'm thinking about this.

We now have reservations at GF garden view for $199 (pre-tax) during the holiday season when the room's rack rate is $514. We are saving $2205! In fact the rate is lower than the AP rate we had in the summer of 2001.

What a difference a second call makes. I called back at 9:40 and got Poly GV at $190 for Dec. 5,6 and 7 and AKL concierge at 277.64 for Dec. 8, 9 and 10.

We were able to get WL woods view for Dec. 19-23 for a total of about $136(with tax) per night. I was also told there was availability at AKL and POR on these same nights. I called at 6:00 pm CT. I am very excited, we'll be celebrating our 30th anniversary at WL now.
