Contemporary standard $171 Dec Holiday season 4 nights

That means our whole week will cost only $851 for Christmas week....for Holiday season!!!!

6 minutes on hold and 27 minutes to get reservations straigthened out. Got $171.00 taxes inc. AKL Savannah 11/12-11/16. Not a huge savings over the "come back" price I already had, but allowed me to book an additional room for friends who want to come down with us.

I just couldn't stand it anymore- so I added 3 nights onto the end of our vacation- Dec. 26 -29 AKL Concierge for $833 (seriously- I've never seen discounts that low during Holiday season). So, I guess instead of saving money- this AP discount is costing me $833. Ooops. My DH (who tolerates my Disney addiction) is going to have a mild fit .

Got Animal Kingdom Lodge for $1202 for December 6-13. Originally wanted Wilderness Lodge, but it was not available. I am very happy with this rate.

I had ressies for AS Movies for $77 per night, AP rate was not available at AllStars for all of my nights so we are doing 2 nights @ CS (which I have always wanted to do!) and 6 nights @ ASMu and we are still saving about $175!

I called today and had to convince first CM that it was the 28th! She said make your reservation today and call back tomorrow (the 28th!) and have the code applied! I said TODAY IS THE 28TH! How many other people did she tell that today! Once I convinced her, she checked and said nothing was available with AMI code at WL so I said thank you and called right back. Got $125 plus tax for WL Woodsview!

Still a little nervous about it. Think I'll call back tomorrow to triple check!

Was on the phone today total about an hr and a half...converting earlier ressies...then converting again when DH told me he couldnt get off work during the time I booked.

So now we are going Dec 16-23 4 nites GF GV, 3 nites AKL Savannah. With 1 AP and 3 7-nite UPHs, the total comes to 2950...thats almost $800 less than my original ressie. I am THRILLED!!!

Plus to go during Christmas is like a dream come true. Now I just can't wait!!

We were booked at the Swan with the great AP rate of $139 which is awesome especially during Thanksgiving. I was hoping so much for the AP rates so we could do a split stay. We did a split stay last Dec and Jan and it was like two separate vacations. So far we've stayed at the WL, BWI, CR Tower concierge and AKL concierge. I've always wanted to try the Poly and this morning I got my wish.

We booked the Poly GV from Nov. 29th - Dec. 6th for $170.00 a night plus tax. I have never seen the Poly this low. Now we have 7 days/ 6nights at the Swan from Nov. 23-Nov. 29. This works out perfectly as we are spending the first part of our trip mostly in Epcot and MGM.

Then we are at the Poly for 8 days/ 7 nights from Nov. 29- Dec. 6th which also works out great as we are attending 2 MVMCP during that time.

I know I sound happy now but this morning I was not. I too was on hold from 6:59 am till 7:45 am only to have the CM disconnect me after I asked about the AP rates So I call back immediately and finally at 8:45 am I get through. This CM was so sweet. She even took my cell phone number incase we got disconnected. She also did not know how to access the rates. She did have to put me on hold a couple of times to have someone help her but in the end it was well worth the wait.

I mean can you stand it....the Poly for $170.00 a night. Did I mention I'm staying at the Poly

I was on hold for just about 45 mins this morning. Finally able to get through and booked (3) rooms at CBR for $88.06 per nite, including tax. Was also only charged $99 for 11/27, which was a blackout date !!!

Doing a very happy dance !!!!

Called this afternoon...on hold about 10 minutes. Got Wilderness Cabins for 3 nights...154.00 a night not including tax. Saved $100.00 a night from what we had booked before the discounts came out today!

Hi all,

I was ready to fork over $205.16 a night to pay rack rates for my trip Dec 26 to Jan 3 with my girlfriend and I. I remember reading somewhere on this board how there usually aren’t any deals for around Christmas time, so I wasn’t sure what to expect. So was I surprised when I got the news on what my resort stay would cost. I only spend about 20 minutes on my phone today with the reservationist, so it wasn't that bad.

All I can say is oh my goodness what a great AP rate I got. If I add the calculations correctly, my AP rate comes to a little more than 60% off of the rack rate that waltdisneyworld.com shows when you try to make a reservation through them. I was going to stay at one of the value resorts or possible CBR standard room, but I am so happy that I got through this morning. A CBR standard room alone was going to cost $205.16 a night.

Here is the cost for us to stay at AKL-Savanna room with no AP : $457.15 a night ($3657.20)
AP rate that I got for us at AKL- Savanna room for this time $171.75 a night ($1374)

I can’t believe the deal that we got.

I will have to go through this post when I have a chance and see what deals other people were able to get.

Well, I called and was on hold for about 5 minues. I got $99 per night for POR from Oct 5-9, but had to pay rack rate for the 9-12. Still better than nothing tho. It is a little upsetting because I was trying to call this morning on my cell phone and after wasting 45 of my not-so-free minutes, I had to hang up because we were swamped at work Oh well, tho.

We(with the help of Dreams Unlimited!) got Beach Club, Nov. 29-Dec. 6, standard view for $194.01. We were thrilled. We had reservations for Yacht Club, but that wasn't available for AP discount, so we switched and saved a bunch!!

Just called, on hold less than 5 minutes. AKL and WL not available for our dates 11-6 to 11-16, but we got CSR water view for $87 a night, just $10 more than we were going to pay for rack rate at ASMovies! Whoo hoo!

Not much was available for my dates, Oct 22-27. My first three choices were not available (All Stars Sports preferred view, Coronado Springs or Wilderness Lodge), so I booked an All Star Music standard room at $69/nite. I'm just happy to get a discount!

I got lagoon-view Poly for 6 nights in December for a total of $1505! That's close to $1000 savings. Wanted GF but it wasn't avail. Does anyone know whether it was ever offered with AP discount? I'll probably keep trying, it is so perfect for Christmas, My DH is worried Poly won't be jolly enough. Also, we requested Samoa based on what the booking jockey @WTC told me (close to main pool). Does anyone know the best location for convenience to monorail and the pools? We have 3 kids under the age of 11 and plan to use the pool daily. Thanks!

Poly for $204 from Oct.18-22. That, combined with my CR Tower for $220 from Oct. 22-25 booked in Feb. makes for nice trip.
