Ap Rates--What did you get?

Just off the phone....
cancelled FTP to get AP rate at Polynesian. Total cost will be about $400 more...but now our tickets for next year are paid for.

Polynesian worked out to be $227/night including tax....for GV/standard.

I had Poly GV Oct. 1-5 with AAA rate, I was able to upgrade to Poly concierge GV with AAA rate for Oct.1 and AP rate Oct.2-5 and was able to save almost $100. ! Yeah! I was on hold aprox. 45 min.

On hold for over 30 mins. The CM told me they could only access the rates on one computer in the office, so she kept putting down the phone to go check. She told me they got 116 calls immediately at 7:00 a.m., and she had 80 calls on hold after me. Anyway, I got:

WL Courtyard (all they had) Oct. 25-27 $165/night ($184 w/tax)

I was also quoted:

Poly garden view - $205/night ($227 w/tax).

Note both are REGULAR season.

Okay originally had ressies 12/2-12/9 at WL Woods with Disney Club discount (2adults) for $1452.92. Called this am for AP rates and only had to hold about 25 mins to find out no WL AP rates for my dates, but I kind of expected that. I was offered:

WL Conc $1709
Poly GV $1327
AKL Pool $1163
AKL SVH $1202


I ended up splitting my stay which is what I really wanted to do so we are keeping DC WL for the first 3 nights and moving to AKL SVH for the last 4 nights. We're only saving about $60 but now I get to try 2 resorts during our stay and I couldn't be happier! DD(3) will be thrilled to sit on our balcony at AKL and watch giraffes and we still get to take the boat the the MK from WL - the best of both worlds IMO!

Nothing available at WL for 10/19-10/25 I could have had Poly with GV for $230.84 (tax inc) but passed since we really want to stay at WL this trip. It'll probably be the last trip to Disney Mom and I take together since I am getting married next March.

We have reservations at the Hotel Royal Plaza, but I was hoping for a good AP rate. We will be there Oct 5-11. We wanted AKL or WL but NOTHING was available but Poly and BW conc which is too expensive (we are paying for our room and inlaws room this time). I'm bummed but I may try back later.

Originally had a res. for AAA AKL Concierge Nov 9-11, then AAA WL Woods View Nov 11-16.

Called right at 7 - only on hold for about 5 minutes - no discount for AKL offered (and that's non-negotiable - DH really wants to do the Sunrise Safari again!) - but I could have the Poly for the 2nd part (11th - 16th) 2 rooms, GV for $170 + tax/night/room, or GV - Concierge for $235/room/night. That was a no-brainer, we took the Concierge! Guaranteed to be in Hawaii, which will be just reopening from its rehab! Lounge overlooking the lagoon, so we can watch fireworks, etc from there!

Called back later after talking to DH - he wanted to price out the Epcots - on hold for almost 40 minutes - then on the phone with the reservationist for over 30 minutes! She said that the computers were completely messed up - the AP code listed on Mousesavers was not in their computer - but that the AP discount was showing availability for BWI - or YC concierge - but, she couldn't get it to price out or reserve it. She had to put me on hold, and have a supervisor figure out the pricing - then I would have to have the supervisor manually book it if I wanted it. OUCH! Turns out - the plain BWI room with discount was more than Poly concierge - I'll take the pampering!

AKL Concierge December 7-10th (6th was not available) - 277.64 (tax included)

AKL Savannah - December 10th-17th - $171.71 (tax included)

Total for ten nights - $2035!!!!

I am so psyched! Not only a great rate ($1500 savings off of rack, $1000 off of DC rate) but today is double digit day, too!!!

I had ASMu for $86.25 a night. I added AP rates to my existing ressies. I even upgraded to CBR. My new rate was $88.09 a night.
What a bargain for me!!

Good Morning!

Hold time was about 20 minutes for me.
DH and I will have our first trip to AKL on Nov. 20-24 for $122/night tax included. CM mentioned they were still having problems with the computer system. Like others, I was put on hold twice while she checked rates on the terminal that was working.

Ok...looks like AKL is where most of us are landing... I had Winter dream maker at Contemporary Tower for 7 nights Nov 29 thru Dec 6 total 2596.12, the disney club room only Contemp Tower was 2222.50.

I have a 3 1/2 year old and 1 1/2 year old. WIfe and I consider HIFS since we would be separte, called this am 17 minute wait and was told Boardwalk, Beachclub or AKL availiable. AKL savanah view, 171.71 including taxes (I've seen that rate before), so I said ANIMALS here we come......total 1202 out the door, plus the annual pass.

We are still staying at the Swan for the majority of our Christmas 2003 stay but we opted to add 2 nights AKL conceirge, Savannah View for $277/night includes tax for Dec.1 to 2 and Savannah View for $171/night includes tax for Dec. 3 to 4. We love that resort; it's our favorite. Getting up at 3 am and seeing wild animals out your balcony can't be beat.
