Ap Rates--What did you get?

OK, I called and was on hold 10 minutes. Turns out the AP rate is not good for Pop Century its opening week
BUT, its just a girls' trip, me and a friend sans the men, and we are going as cheap as possible. So what could be better than All Star Movies at $49 PER NIGHT!!! Seven nights totalling $384 for December 13-20!!!!
I love you Disney!

Just got a Beach Club Water View room for our Dec. 6-14 visit for $1864.32 (233.04/night) tax included. I can't wait for our first Christmas trip.

I spent 20 minutes on hold this morning before I had to hang up to get my kids off to school. Then after another 20 minutes on hold I got a CM who told me her computer couldn't process the AP rate, then another 15 minutes to be transferred to CM that could.

Worth every minute! No standard view rooms left for December 18-27, which didn't surprise me a bit, but we got a woods view for $139 (tax included).

Saved over $700 on our stay!

The CM thanked me over and over again for my patience. Apparently she's had several irate callers this morning. Let's be nice boys and girls!

I originally was paying rack rate at the Contemporary Resort for October 8 to the 14th. Now thanks to the AP rates, I have the Poly instead for $227 total a night. We are saving $409.00

I can't wait to go now.

I booked the nights of Oct. 13/14 at the WL Courtyard view for $368 w/tax ($165/nt room rate). There is no availablity the nights of Oct. 11/12 (weekend). BTW, they do not have standard view for these dates. They do have woods view for $335 w/tax.

I also booked the nights of Oct. 15/16 at AKL Savannah View for $399 w/tax ($179/nt room rate). There was availability from Oct. 11-17.

I had read there was no availability at WL for this time, but there looks to be some if want fewer consecutive days.

We were booked At Boardwalk for our last 2 nights. I just switched to AKL concierge for the last 2 nights. Rack rate is 425.00 to 275 per night. I am very excited we get to do the Sunrise Safari this time!

I didn't have to hold, called at 6:59 and got right through!
Got POR Nov 29-Dec 8 for 793.00!!! I still needed Nov 27 & 28 and the only thing available was CS for those dates! Booked them at rack rate. Now the calling everyday will begin. Hopefully I can get something at ASMusic to add on to my Nov 24-27 ressie. Still I'm thrilled!!!!

Just got off the phone with CRO. I was on hold for about 20 mins but was on the line with the CM for another 20-25 mins!!

For my dates 12/11-12/15 the CR was not avaible I really wanted to stay there, that is the wing room.

But I was able to get $189.50 for the Poly. Although I wanted to stay at the CR I just could not justifiy paying more money for it. The main reason we wanted to stay at the CR was for the Monorail, so I can not complain too much since we still have the Monorail at the Poly.

The CR was $148.00 more then the Poly for my dates. That will pay for our MVMCP tickets

GF lagoon view for $266/night includes tax. Had to book this myself as my agent is nowhere to be found. Just glad I got it.

My first choice was Coronado Springs, but the only moderate available during my stay was Caribbean Beach King (was quoted for 9 nights $893.00). King bed was not an option, neither was a deluxe due to budget (plus, previous posts indicated there probably wouldn't have been deluxe either), so went with ASSports the whole stay (I didn't want to hassle myself or the agent with too much date experimenting for a split stay).

Check in: Sunday, November 2nd
Check out: Tuesday, November 11th
(9 nights)

Total: $494.00 (roughly $54.89 a night with tax)

Call length was about 40 minutes, the first 20 on hold, then spoke with a CM, then put back on hold due to the computer issues, then spoke to another CM. (Be kind to the CMs, the first one said it's already been a long day and it's still early, LOL.)

Got two rooms at the AKL - Savannah view for 12/5-12/7 171.50 including tax each. I called through the Disney Club line at 9:45AM est and was on hold for 8 mins. The rest of the stay we'll use DVC points at OKW. I hate to use the points on weekends and use the AP discounts to cover Fri/Sat nights the last view visits when we needed two rooms.

The CM said they were mobbed this morning. Hope someone in marketing takes note here and make these discounts available sooner and more often..

I got up at 3:50am (that's right AM-I'm in CA), to call in right at 4. Was hoping to get the discount on our reservation at the Caribbean Beach arriving on 12/11. After going through the "menu" and then waiting on hold for about 40 minutes...no such luck!!! (I did have the option of changing over to POR, but we stayed at Dixie Landings back in 2000 and the kids really want to stay at CBR)
Oh well, the gal on the phone said to keep trying every few days, I might luck out and get the rate resulting from a cancellation.
I'm glad that I read the "boards" yesterday or I wouldn't have even been trying to call for a few more weeks. Thanks and wish me luck!!!

Did anyone get AP rates for a deluxe hotel on the Weekend of Nov. 8 &9? I saw a few posts for moderate and lower, but when I called at 9:30 the deluxes were either sold out or blacked out. I want to keep calling to see if they become available, but if they never were then I won't bother trying.

I know that it is going to be really busy that weekend with the on going food and wine festival, plus the Festival of the Masters and Super soap weekend being those days.
