I called about my reservation today and was told if they were going to have a discount (Mar 31-April 6) they would have done it by now so don't expect one.

Oh my, that is totally awful to hear.....I think last year it was around Feb. 20 or 21 that AP discounts were released for this time frame, so I'm going to keep my eyes and ears open wide this entire week.

I hope they do come out this week...I thought they had already come out last year by this time, I must have read that incorrectly somewhere.

I'm interested in possibly getting an AP this year and am wondering if there has always been AP discounts in May avail. or if there are blackout periods typically - we always go around Memorial Day and I'm wondering if they give AP rates during that time. Also what sort of AP rate/discount have others typically gotten in previous Mays - I've read some posts that say they aren't what they used to be or that you don't have much choice of resorts.

They blacked out MLK weekend, so there is a good bet that other holiday weekends may also be blacked out. You could manage a discount prior to the holiday. The rules are always changing, so nothing is guaranteed when it comes to AP discounts. The discounts are offered to fill rooms, so generally only the resorts that have more vacancies are given discounts.

They are out and you can get the dining plan with your AP room only discount! No more one day tickets!!!

I got the Wilderness Lodge Courtyard view w/ dining plan $1681 for 5 nights!
