AP rates are out!

After holding for 36 minutes, I booked CBR in Nov. for $88.09 w/ tax. Well worth the wait.
I added the AP rate to my existing ressies which was: ASMu for $86.25 w/ tax.
So I upgraded for $1.85. Not bad!!!!!!
Gotta love it!

I am so excited i just got off the phone with WDTC and they give me an awesome price for checking in on 12-26 and checking out on 1-2.For 7 nights at PC it was 382.00 and for CSR it was 695.00 for AKL savannah it was 1202.00 and WL woods view it was 976.00.Now for trying to choose which place to stay.

OK, got on the phone at 7:36am and very nice CM picked up at 8:22am (yikes, what is my phone bill going to be!!).

We want to apply an AP discount to our ressie at WL for 2 rooms on 10/4. Our current rate is $480 total. He had to put me on hold again (another 9 mins, yuck), but when he came back he said they were having computer problems and system is getting overloaded from so many calls. He connected me with a CM from Guest Services who offered me a woods view at WL for $336 or a courtyard view for $368 (inc. tax). Hooray! We took the courtyard view and still saved $111 dollars.

At least all that phone time paid off!

In case you are interested, I booked the Sports for the same time frame with AAA at $61.60/night.....for a total of $68.99/night.

After only 21 minutes on hold....I was able to book WL standard for $143/night for October 14-19. Savannah view was offered at $199.

FYI - I know for a fact that there is a huge convention in Orlando Oct 17-21. So this may affect some of the availability just before or after these dates also.

Just booked Grand Floridian Garden View~ December 19- 23 for $199 per night ($222 inc. tax) and Wilderness Lodge Courtyard View~ December 24- Jan 3 for $140 per night ($156 inc. tax). Tried for All Stars for part of our stay but nothing was available for those dates.

Just finished up,
DD (6) woke me up at 8:40am, wow can't believe I slept that late knowing this was going on today. Had checked availability for our dates last night on Expedia, and knew that there wasn't a real lot available. Well my first choice was AKL for the first 3-5 nights depending on the price. When I started today I reserved a standard view for $144 inc. tax for Oct 30th - Nov 4th. Then we started working on Nov 4th to Nov 10th. (6 nights). First choice, Fort Wilderness Cabin, not available, then asked what was, my agent, who by the way was great, then checked the other resorts individually, and said no-go, I asked about PO since someone had mentioned availabilty those dates on here, not now, then I said AS and she did say that was available, I guess she didn't think we wanted to go down that far in level. No AS Movies, but we got 2 rooms, so the grownups have some privacy, at AS Music. $49 per room per night before tax. Because we ended up spending so little for the last 6 nights I decided to upgrade the AKL room to Savannah, DDs are thrilled. The rate for this was $199 per night including tax, when she had quoted the price I thought it didn't include tax, that is a great rate of $179 per night in regular season, before tax. YEA!! Good luck to all those left out there, I think there is a possibility of more rooms opening up for this time period, (beginning on Nov) I know there is a large conference at CSR (PBA I think) during that time, those rooms might still be on hold, and also I bet they hold rooms for the Soap Weekend, that may be released at some point. I am so happy, AP discounts this morning and BRUCE this evening, life is good, Thank you God!

I just had to comment on this: I wish I knew how to quote from your post, but, this coincidence is too much!! I too changed my AKL ressie for December to get $171./Nt, my phone call was exactly 74 minutes, and my mom always called me "Shell"!

When will you be there in Dec.? We'll be there 12/19 - 12/29.

Called this morning and was on hold for about 15 minutes. Got the following:

POR - 10/29/03 to 11/03/03 - standard - $110.39 per night!!

AKL - 12/26/03 to 01/02/04 - standard - $121.54 per night!!!

Both include tax. He was surprised to see AKL that low for Xmas week.

I AM SOOOO HAPPY!!! Never stayed at AKL before and while I have heard Savannah view is great, when you have three trips in five months, you gotta take what you can afford. I am sure we will love it all the same.

My CM was Roman and he was a sweetheart! If anyone from CRO reads this and knows Roman, tell him he ROCKS!!!

Waited about 35 minutes to try and change my WL standard for the beginning of December. No Inventory available, offered the Poly but the kids are in love with the WL bunk bed thing so I will stay with my AAA discount and be happy. CM said the WL is pretty much booked at the beginning of December. Oh well, good luck to the rest of you.

I noticed you got AP rates for Jan. Is that becuase your trip starts in Dec? When I called, I was told that there were no AP rates for Jan (my trip starts Jan. 1).

Yes, its because my trip is starting the last day of the AP rates, the 26th of December. I am just so excited now. I have never stayed there before and it looks great!

We were booked at the Swan with the great AP rate of $139 which is awesome especially during Thanksgiving. I was hoping so much for the AP rates so we could do a split stay. We did a split stay last Dec and Jan and it was like two separate vacations. So far we've stayed at the WL, BWI, CR Tower concierge and AKL concierge. I've always wanted to try the Poly and this morning I got my wish.

We booked the Poly GV from Nov. 29th - Dec. 6th for $170.00 a night plus tax. I have never seen the Poly this low. Now we have 7 days/ 6nights at the Swan from Nov. 23-Nov. 29. This works out perfectly as we are spending the first part of our trip mostly in Epcot and MGM.

Then we are at the Poly for 8 days/ 7 nights from Nov. 29- Dec. 6th which also works out great as we are attending 2 MVMCP during that time.

I know I sound happy now but this morning I was not. I too was on hold from 6:59 am till 7:45 am only to have the CM disconnect me after I asked about the AP rates So I call back immediately and finally at 8:45 am I get through. This CM was so sweet. She even took my cell phone number incase we got disconnected. She also did not know how to access the rates. She did have to put me on hold a couple of times to have someone help her but in the end it was well worth the wait.

I mean can you stand it....the Poly for $170.00 a night. Did I mention I'm staying at the Poly
