AP rates and Moderates??

We are going to DW next July for 11 nights and we are so excited. Due to our longer stay we are going to get AP's and although I now an AP rate is not a guarantee has anyone ever not been able to get their first choice resort on an AP rate if you were calling soon after rates come out?? Specifically we are interested in the POFQ...this is the hotel that my DS has picked out for our stay and I need to know if I am going to need to renogitiate with him or if we should be OK. Thanks for your thoughts!!

You "should" be OK. Attendance has been really picking up lately, but if you watch the boards (& www.mousesavers.com) closely, then you should catch them whenever they come out. We've never had a problem getting an AP rate at a moderate in the couple of times we've been in that scenario.
