AP rates always available?

I'm trying to decide whether to get an AP... we are going in APril during Peak season, so I'm not expecting any codes to be out. Are there always AP rates for those times? Would I be better off going with the guaranteed 15% off with AAA?

AP rates are never a certainty. If you have AAA, then you can book a room using that and if the AP rate *does* come out, then at that time you can decide if you want to purchase one (sometimes AP rates aren't that much better than the AAA ones). You don't even need to have the AP itself in hand when you book the room (you just need it by the time you check in). So you have plenty of time to decide which way to go beforehand. (of course, I'm talking room only rates here -- if you book a package, then things are much more restrictive when it comes to changes!)
