I am planning to buy preferred AP passes for our 10-day July trip and would appreciate some veteran advice. Is there a discount on other AP passes if you buy one as an AP passholder? Or should I just go ahead and buy all 4 at once. (I want to catch that $169 rate before it disappears) I've been to the Fan Club site and there's a section for AP members only that you actually have to use your # and password to view. It says something about "special deals" etc. Is it worth going ahead and buying my AP now to take advantage of whatever offers there are for members? And do I actually get a member. # as soon as buy online or not until I go to the service center at the park in July? Thanks.

If you have not already checked AAA, call and see if they have any additional discount from the $169. We purchased ours in GA for $119 each. Good Luck.

U can get a fan club discounts on the AP 10% but its at the gate

I just checked our mid-atlantic AAA and the only discounts on US tickets are for 5-day and 2-day passes. I did use the AAA rate for RPR in order to keep earning towards Loew's plat. On the Fan Club site it says you get a voucher for the $169 pref. AP and then present it at the gate of either IOA or US to get the actual passes. Does anyone know how long the $169 rate is going to be available? Thanks

$169 is the normal price for the AP but with the fan club card u get an additional 10% discount :jester:

We bought FL residents premium passes using the AAA discount earlier this month.
DH bought the two (adult) passes on-line. The total cost was $255. And we had I think to the end of April to validate the passes.
He printed out a confirmation.
At US yesterday, we entered the confirmation number into a video display kiosk -- and presto -- passes. :)

I do remember reading a while back about the AAA AP passes. Isn't that the one that expires April of 2005 no matter what month it actual starts? For instance, if you don't use it until June of this summer, it still will expire in Apr. '05 and not June '05.
