We have Annual Passes. Do we have to buy tickets for Christmas Day or can we use the Annual Passes to get in.

I'm only asking because we bought tickets for MVMCP and then I thought gee, if I have to pay for the party do I also have to pay extra for a Holiday like Christmas.

Unless they are seasonal passes, you can use them any day of the year.

APs give you admission to the parks for 366 days. Parties are an extra that is why you had to pay extra for it. But don't forget, you get a discount on that with the AP.

Your Annual Pass is good every day at all 4 parks during normal park hours, you can definately use it on Christmas Day, New Years, 4th of July etc.

WDW has a few of what they refer to as "hard ticket events". These are held after park hours and therefore require separate admission. Two of the most popular are the Christmas and Halloween parties. On both of these occasions you can still use your AP to gain admission to all the parks during normal park hours.

For the MVMCP, the MK will close at normal time, say 7pm to "day guests" and you need the ticket for the after hours event. Keep in mind that even during these hard ticket parties you can still visit Epcot, MGM and or AK even after the MK closes (if the other parks are open) and gain admission with your AP.

Occasionally you can get a small discount on select nights for these events with an AP.
