Ap question

Hi,
Does anyone know if ap's purch through ms are active on the date of pur or first use? I received a post card from ms today stating ap good for one yr from date of issuance. Thanks.

The postcard refers to the actual AP or PAP. When you purchase from MS (or over the phone, online or from one of the Disney Stores), you get a voucher.

The voucher must be exchanged for the actual pass. (You do the exchange on site at WDW). Your year starts when you exchange the voucher.
