The new price for an Annual Pass before any DVC discount is now $395 plus $25.68 tax which brings the total to $420.68. I got this info right from WDW website.
Heres my math for our DVC AP price... $395-$100=$295 plus tax of $19.18 brings total to $314.18. ( Did we figure the cost would of been around $297 before this price increase?).
I'm still really happy with the $100 off the AP price. I just wanted to make sure those of you going to purchase the AP's soon realize they went up.
I hope everyone had a great start to the new year.

after our DVC discount was announced. It looks like the new breakeven point is either more than 10 consecutive days (with the days expiring, so only one long trip that year), or if more than one trip (so you'd need the no expiration option), then it'd be anything over 7 days: the 7 day MYW w/park hopping and no expiration comes to $307.79 gate/ $296.07 advance purchase, while the 10 day goes for $366.36 gate/ $353.58 advance. But the price differential is so minimal at those higher day levels (5 day MYW w/PH & no exp is $280.10 gate/ $272.54 adv) that I should think that for us DVCers, if you're taking 2 or more trips inthe same year, you should probably consider the AP.
$100 is still $100, but we will get less with each AP increase. I hope Disney will periodically bump up the dollar amount of the discount to keep an even percentage with the ticket increases. That is of course if they keep the DVC discount program for several years.
