AP Pandora experience and crowd levels

I will be at WDW May 10-15. Does anyone know how many people WDW is allowing to do the experience? I know slots filled up very quickly. Just wondering how much it would impact crowds at AK and the other parks. Do you think there will be a DVC preview as well? We had wanted to see AK at night, but now may need change plans a bit.

Yes, there is a DVC preview during the same dates as the AP previews.

AP/DVC previews don't start until the 13th. They will have CM previews the earlier days of your trip but I imagine for most part they will go to Pandora and leave, no impact to the rest of the park.

We are there for an AP time on the 13th We'll come mid-day then stay for RoL. Went ahead and got a RoL fp this morning since we got a rolling 60 days from our April reservarions

I'm predicting that we will not got to AK during the day and show up to our AP time at 6 pm. Then after the park is still open an hour so we might enjoy an attraction afterwards, more if they extend. I think those attending will have a wide variety of answers to what they are doing with the rest of their day(s) and personally I wouldn't be changing any park plans, especially since there are previews every day during OP's trip.

Hey, all! I snagged a reservation for the Pandora preview on May 16th as an AP holder only to find out . . . we are leaving that day Called, and of course, there is nothing available any longer. What do you think my chances are if I take my reservation and try to go the DAY BEFORE my scheduled time. Think they might let me in?

DVC still open, my mom just grabbed a slot. We were not planning on AK, had ROL scheduled the night before. Switched it all around to do ROL on a different day, and going to AK, then MK to see the fireworks. Expecting I'll be dealing with lots of people that day!

Did everyone who signed up get an email? I signed up and got to the page where it said I was registered and would receive an email that I should print and bring with me. I did screen shot this page as it has an order number and does say that I am registered. However, I never received that email. Thoughts?

I read in another thread that disney would be sending out emails with in 24 hours. I know I received one right after then another a few hours latter. so be on the look out of it.

I highly doubt it. I would have to think they are going to be strict with the day and time slot

Thanks it hasn't been 24 hours yet so maybe it just hasn't come. I hope so, I am so excited to do this as I thought we would miss it with our dates.

I wouldn't worry at all. I never got an email about the sign ups nor have I received the confirmation email yet. I did take a screenshot of my confirmation page.

Disney did say they are aware of the issue and not to worry. They'll be sending out the emails

I think your chances are slim to none. The terms of the registration stated, "Due to limited capacity, modifications to existing reservations will not be available."

I still haven't received an email either. Got the confirmation page when I selected the time but the email from Disney has yet to come.

Disney is TERRIBLE in their email department

We were originally leaving that day but decided to make an AK day out of it so we'll add to the crowd but I don't think it will be terrible.

It seems a lot of people might just be going for that event though. I could see it adding a bigger bump to the middle of the day while people are waiting for it or discussing it afterwards while slipping in an attraction or a drink or something.
