AP or MYW passes?

Trying to decide which would be better...We have a definite trip planned for January, but I was DH and myself to do a "prewedding" celebration trip this summer, then thanksgiving next year as well possibly...I think the AP passes would be better in the long run, but then again those trips aren't for sure yet....

Doing the AP on the trip I already have booked will only add about $200 to our current price. Also, how would I even change them from the park hoppers to AP?

Well, you could always stick with the park hopper tickets for now and then upgrade once you've gotten to WDW. Once you've used the ticket once, go to guest relations and have them converted to APs.

If you have an AP, you can take advantage of the AP discounts (shopping, food) while at the resort. The hotel and/or shopping discounts often make it worthwhile for my family to have an AP.
