AP not always valid?

I just read on another post that APs weren't valid during a certain time in July due to crowd levels and how busy it gets. Is this true? We purchased APs because it would be cheaper than buying normal passes. Is there somewhere that lists when we can and can't use the passes? We'll be going from June 10-24. Will the passes be valid at those times? Any help would be great. Thanks!

APs are valid for 366 days from the time that you redeem or start using them. The seasonal passes are not. Make sure you have an actual AP, not seasonal. Seasonal passes have a lot of black out dates on them.

It is the Florida resident seasonal passes that have blackout dates. Your AP should be fine at any time.

I read that same post. The OP of that post is a Florida Resident, so their FR annual passes have black out dates. Regular APs are available all year. :sunny:

There are no Florida resident annual passes there's annual passes and seasonal passes, only Fl. residents can buy seasonal passes. The only difference in annual passes are that Florida residents pay less for them!!!

Yes, but the seasonal passes available to Florida residents are not valid for the entire year. Annual passes are...

Yes I just meant Annuals are the same thing for Fl. residents and out of staters, but Fl. residents get a discount.

Seasonals can only be purchased by Fl. residents and are blacked out for like 2 months in the summer, a week and a half for Christmas and a week and a half for spring break and Seasonals don't get free parking, annuals do!!
Sorry for the misunderstanding!

Basically the seasonal pass is "Hey, come here whenever we aren't very busy"
