Went on Disney. com site today to find out price of AP. Had to click on country you were in, but scrolling down ticket type, didn't give Annual Pass as an option. Had to click to say I lived in US to find out price.

Firstly can UK residents buy Annual Passes and how do you book/buy them? Do you click on US resident option on Disney site? Or can you ring up, pay on your credit card and then collect them when you get there?

Thanks

You need to phone to buy APs in advance - you can no longer order online.

It's very easy to buy annual passes when you arrive at WDW. We've never bothered buying in advance. Any of the ticket office windows at any of the parks will sell you an AP, and it doesn't take more than a few minutes.

Rob

When you ring up and order your AP's you will be sent a voucher that you exchange at any of the following :
Any WDW ticket window or Guest Relations window or at the Guest Relations offices at Downtown Disney or Downtown Disney West Side.
There is no expiration date on the vouchers. You will just need your voucher and photo ID to activate.

If you select the 'will call' delivery option for the APs (after first declaring that you live in the USA) can't you still order them online? There's definitely options for different countries in the payment methods.

Also if you carry on selecting your tickets there is an option for international delivery (@ $10) if you select the postal delivery option. Doesn't this mean that you CAN order online ??

If you are flying into MCO you can also buy APs at the Disney stores within the airport - you get the actual passes, not a voucher :)

Does anyone have the number you need to call to buy AP's?

It sounds as though you can, then, Tracey. Perhaps someone who intends to purchase in advance could try it and report back.

Unfortunately, there's no discount for advance purchase of APs. The procedure for exchanging certificates or using 'will call' is no different to that for simply purchasing APs at the gate, so the only possible benefit is that you fix the exchange rate which may aid budgeting.

Johann I would ring 001-407-824-4321 this is information.

I'm planning on trying it when the MVMCP tickets go onsale online so I'll give you an update then :D

I tried to do this last night and it wouldn't even let me register. I filled in all the info after adding 2 APs to my basket, then when you click submit it just refreshes the same page and won't go any further  This is what I had when I tried last month so I don't think you can get APs this way.

hi, does anyone know if its possible to upgrade from a ten day pass to a annual pass in orlando, we have bought ten days but wish we had a ap thanks for any advice susie

Ordered PAP's this afternoon. The Cm said they don't send out vouchers or confirmation, we can collect them at guest services at any park. Does this sound right? We do have a confimation number.

Yes TT......we used the will call option last September and had no problems collecting our APs at Guest Services:earsboy:

We had tried to order them from the WDW site but it wouldn't send to an overseas address. I exchanged e-mails with WDW and was advised that the only way to order APs in advance from overseas was by phone. The number to call is 407 934 7639.

Thanks amf, you've put my mind at rest. The CM had problems understanding the accent:teeth:. We called the information number and after numerous press 1 for whatever and 2 and so on we finally spoke to a real person.

Thanks for all the info - my only concern is that I'm hoping to get AP discount on the hotel - Pop Century - room already booked and just waiting for rates to come out. We don't plan to visit a park first day (get there quite late by taxi) - will we still be able to check in and claim the AP discount (if we get one beforehand) with just a AP confirmation number, if we are only picking up the actual AP's next day?

Hi Susie:wave2:

I don't think you can unfortunately (unless Disney have changed their policy) as the 10 day pass is specific to the UK. I'm almost positive I read a Trip Report last year where someone tried to do this but couldn't. Sorry!

Hi susie2

I know of someone that did just this, this is what she said in a previous post:

I know a lot of people have been told this is not possible by CMs but believe me it is as I upgraded 3 x 10 day world passes to Premium Annual Passes last December. I asked at Downtown Disney guest services and was told that it was unlikely to possible because of the limited time/geographical availability of the tickets. They said any form of special offer ticket cannot be upgraded. However, the very nice CMs decided to give it a whirl, scanned the code on the pass into the till and it came up with a credit amount (can't remember what) which I was able to offset against the PAPs. They were very surprised that it worked so if you are told it is not possible ask them to see if their system recognises the ticket and gives credit for it. I should say that I had not used the passes but I don't think that should make a difference. Good luck.

hope this helps

You don't need to have an AP (or an AP voucher) when you check-in. I've booked on-site hotels with AP discounts in the past and have never bought my AP in advance. Just so long as yu show your AP to the check-in desk with 2 or 3 days they seem quite relaxed about having an AP or not.
