AP - how do you book it from UK?

Hiya, how much discount do you get booking with the AP rate? Is it a fair amount? Am only asking as we're going for APs and hubby and I are planning on going in September as a last minute deal so if I can get cheap flights then maybe I can quote the AP rate for Pop Century or All Stars when we go, as we'll probably pick them up from Downtown Disney when we arrive.

Hi Anz It is possible to get a substantially reduced rate with an AP <i><b>if</b></i> AP rates are published for your trip dates and there is availability.

The AP does not entitle guests to an AP discount and they are not available all year round so you would need to book asap if you hear AP rates are announced for your dates and request the AP discount when you book.

Right now, AP rates are only available for up to August 28th and as I mentoned, this is subject to availability.

We've got a room booked at the GF for one night in July. AP rates covering our stay were released last week and, even though I phoned as soon as rates were announced, I was told that the discounted rate wasn't available for our room type. Even if it had been, the discount was nowhere near as good as it has been for stays we've booked in the past. Not sure whether that's a policy change, or just because we've booked at a busy period (although curiously it's classed as 'Value' period for Deluxe Resorts ).

Thanks for the replies. We're going last minute in Sept so I'll have to keep an ear out and see if we can get rates.
