AP holders that entered the Star Tours contest: Check Your Email!!

princess:We are going Wed. May 25 9am-1pm. We checked all time slots except on the weekend. This will be our 5th sneak peek preview of new rides at DLR. Indiana Jones ride, Bugs Land, Nemo Submarine and Toy Story Mania!:cool1:

Congrats to all the APH winners! I won for this Friday's preview but didn't win for the AP one. If I had I probably would have (gasp!) skipped it this Friday. I think I checked off all the times for the AP one.

I hope everyone enjoys their trips. We won for the AP preview for TSMM and we got to ride 7 times during our time slot with very little wait.;)

My inner disney geek is at war with my inner sci fi nerd. I feel the need to bust out my Jedi robe. Maybe whip up some pint size Jedi robes for my little padawans.

As far as the line question goes.... I was there for the Cast preview on Sunday. Our time slot was 9-1, got there a little after 10 and the line was between 30-40 minutes. It's a fun queue though once you're inside the building. Our tickets were stamped and therefore only able to ride the attraction once. Once it opens, they're expecting the line to wrap down to Space per a CM that works in Star Traders. Remember the 3 hour lines for Nemo? Here we go again but partly inside at least.

I remember when the original Star Tours first opened and the line wound all through the queue, spilled out into Tomorrowland and out past the Main Street hub, where Partners is. There were simply mobs and mobs and mobs of people waiting for that ride back in the '80s.

That's why it was so odd to me to see the Star Tours line dwindle down to nothing over the years - becoming almost a walk-on ride at times like the PeopleMover used to be - because I remembered how extremely popular it was when it debuted! (OF course, back in the old days Disneyland didn't manage their long lines as well or as efficiently as they do now, so everything was slower and had long, horrible lines.)

I got the June 1st 4-8 pm slot - Still not sure if I am going to make it or not. I am wondering about how many people actually got the time slot and how long the line will be as 2 of my party of 4 are disabled and can't stand in a long line... who knows...

Questions I sent to Disneyland due to 3 of us winning (different dates). In case anyone here knows someone at DLR that can respond :-)

A few of my friends (annual passholders) also won for different dates that are later than mine. I know that only an annual passholder can only win once, but I had a few questions:

1. If I go on my date (as the winner), may I also bring my friends who won on different dates?
2. If I go on my date (as the winner), may I also go as my friends’ guests on those different dates?
3. If my friends come on my date (as my guests), may they also go on the dates they won?

Mainly, I want to make sure that we don’t get disqualified from using our own dates as winners and then going as guests of other winners.

It looks like mostly CA residents won? DH entered and hasn't heard a thing so I assume he didn't win. :(

We won for Sunday the 29th from 9-1. I only selected the 28th and 29th time slots since I knew I wouldn't be able to take off of work to go.

I won for the 29th from 9 to 1. I may have to get my godson a ticket to buy an AP so he can go with me.

My son also won for this time slot but, unfortunately, won't be able to make it. So that is two less people during your time frame. Hope you won't have a long wait. Have fun anyway. :goodvibes

we won too!!! Super excited!!:banana::banana:

we will be there on Tuesday May 24 from 4pm to 8pm!!

I have a n extra seat if anyone cares to join us!!:goodvibes

I won! I got 6/1 from 4- 8 PM. Will head over after work with friends. I told my friend and we put it on the calendar. And then she told her dh, and he was so excited. We all have good APs, so we are good to go. Oh, and my Mom too.

I was hoping for 5/25-5/28 times since I was already going to be at DL with my niece (and could have had her as part of my group), but didn't win at that time. I am excited to go 6/1 with friends and will hope for some other type of soft opening when I am there next week.
