That's what I wasn't thinking of either, Vala. I kepy typing in the answer and I knew it was right, but it kept saying it was wrong, then I remember Sam is supposed to be 1937!

I just sent my muppets ID code.

I'm used to text messaging, but I'm used to doing it to a proper phone number. So it threw me, to send a message to something that's only 5 digits long! But I just put that number into the Send To spot, then put my code into the body of the message, and sent, and I immediately got a text back that showed me it worked! Yay.

I'm bizarrely excited about this.

I just filled out the first part to volunteer. I am waiting to see if I get the next email. I hope so, it would be a fun extra thing to do for DH's b-day! Although he is already excited because he shares his birthday with Walt.

I just finished the online scavenger hunt. It was a little hard. But it seems fun! After I finished it, it emailed me a pdf of a scavenger hunt type thing to do at DCA and if you're going to be in the park by December 16th you can participate.

We've just had fun finishing the DCA part (!!!) and are wondering what's next? There was a reference to something on the 17th - should we just sit tight? Don't post spoilers of course!

The Swedish Chef stuff is all on wikipedia, you just have to read things that aren't maybe what you originally thought. In my case, the rubber chicken one was my THIRD try at what I thought it was!

The tricky thing about the wiki answer is that it's not in a chicken recipe. It's in another one, and it's more of a related answer, not a true ingredient.

Another poster looked at ask.com, typed in "swedish chef rubber chicken", and when I look at that, there's another food product mentioned on one of the search results that just might be it. You don't even have to look further than the search result page...

Is Rowlf the one where the music plays?

Okay, i'm sad because the yesterday morning I went to the website, answered the questions on the clipboard, it said i had been selected to do the experiment and then some sort of error or something happened and my internet closed down and other things were going buggy on my computer. After restarting the computer, i went back to the site and now it just shows me pictures of the muppet characters who are the test subjects with nothing to click on. I haven't gotten any e-mails at all and it's been about a day and a half. I think my info got trapped in the twilight zone somewhere. Or maybe it time traveled with the muppets. Oh well.

Omg, I would've never thought that the thing was the answer. I literally typed in a million things before I got it right.

And yes, the Rowlf q is the one w/ the music. Is it supposed to be from a song bc it just reminds me of the ABC jingle.

the song one is more about the keys being played then the song. . . if you are a piano player it is super easy if not YAHOO yourself a keyboard.

also another site miceage helped me with the sam the eagle. . and FYI you do not have to complete his flight pattern if you can figure out the answer without it. .

This happened to me before too. First I went was "selected" to do the experiment, so I went into it, but then had to leave and I closed out of it. Then when I tried going into it again, it didn't work and the Muppets showed up. So I think that if you close out of it, you have to sign up again. That's what I did.

Uh...okay. Hopefully I'll be able to get it. This experiment thing is very frusterating.

I was really surprised at how I "got" this hunt. Usually I have a really hard time with hunts and word puzzles and fun quizzes b/c I just can't understand where the people are coming from. So this was really surprised me!

Go in, listen and WATCH the song being played over and over. Check out what notes are being played. Write it down. I think I had to listen to and watch it about 20 times, slowly.
