AP Holder cannot reserve park with AP availability

My husband and I are AP holders and I am trying to get a park reservation for Epcot today. When I'm logged into MDE and try to select Epcot, it says that there is no availability and to check the availability calendar.

However, when I check the availability calendar, Epcot is open for AP holders. It is closed for theme ticket holders and resort guests.

How do I resolve this - it seems that the system is not recognizing that we're AP holders. I've tried logging in/out.

Do you have a resort reservation for that day? If so, the system sees you as a resort guest and not just as an AP holder.

No to both queries. I only have one other reservations in the system (for next Monday), and I'm local so do not have a resort reservation.

I do have old, non-expiring park tickets in my account, but I made sure that they put our APs as the first priority in the account for entrance. Could it be seeing those old tickets and not letting me reserve because of that?

When do your APs expire?

That exact thing happened to me. Would not let me do it from my phone. But when I tried from my iPad I was able to get my reservation. I never figured out what the issue was but at least I got my reservation.

Ha, ha - score! I usually do everything on my laptop, on the MDE website via my browser and that's where it wouldn't let me make the reservation.

I just tried on my phone, and got them! Thank you!

Although now I'm looking out my window and the dark clouds are moving in. Gotta love Florida in June.

yes. Add another "person" to your DME. Transfer your non expiring tickets to that "person". Then your AP should be able to be used. We had this issue last week. When you're ready to use your other tickets you can just re-assign them back to yourself.

It's so glitchy it's ridiculous.

I used the ap on my phone and everything worked. Makes zero sense but there you have it.

I wonder when the day will come when Disney actually invests in their tech?
