Hope you experts can help! We are AP holders and visit several times a year and I thought I had the system down by now but just came upon an interesting scenario.
We have two long weekend trips planned within a 60 day time frame, 4 days early September and 5 days early October. The first trip was just put together this week to coincide with something else we have in FL but I couldn't make FP+ for myself or my dd past the 7 day limit despite having onsite reservations! I spoke with IT and they said the only time a resort stay overrides the 7 day limit is if it is one consecutive stay? Apparently she did an override (this once) so we could make FP+ but it concerns me.
This doesn't seem right to me, if true. Seems like punishing folks for visiting often and takes away a big benefit of staying onsite to AP holders. Not only can't we make 60+ fp plans but this was within the 30 day limit.
I am asking because we have a New Years trip planned and are considering going for Thanksgiving if the kids can get away. This will fall into the "two trips in 60 days" scenario as well so I have to either figure out the best way to book only 7 days or I may skip November all together.
Thanks in advance for your feedback.
