We're about to become members
How much does an adult AP cost for DVC members? What's the cost of an AP for a child?

TIA :flower3:

Adult $389.00
Child $344.00

Here's a link to the pricing.
If you scroll down almost to the bottom, you'll find the pricing for DVC members (it's the chart in dark blue titled "Walt Disney World Annual Passes".

You can see that DVC members also get a discounted price for renewing their APs as well.

You will need your member card to purchase them in person or to pick them up/exchange the voucher at will call if you ordered in advance.

I don't want to impose on this thread but I think I recall that as a DVC member I can only get the discounted pass for family members who live at my home address. IS this correct? We bring my mother-in-law with us and would like to get her the discounted pass but she does not live with us.

You are correct, only family members that share the same address as you are able to receive this discount.

I read this and it sparked my interest. I'm remarried and my daughters reside with their mother most of the time. Any knowledge you may have if they would be included or excluded?

Thanks in advance...

Depends on how old they are. Are they old enough to have a drivers lic? Showing an ID at the time of purchase may cause a problem

Definitely call to double check but I would think if they have the same last name and are young, you should be fine. If they are older and have an ID, you may need their birth certs. to prove they are yours.

I have to imagine they get this question a lot. there must be a policy for it.

I believe the rules state that all adults are required to provide ID. Not sure where they draw that line since the age ranges for tix are 3-9 and 10 and up.

Who is eligible to receive the Annual Pass discount?
Disney Vacation Club Members receive a discount on the Pass for themselves and their immediate family residing in the same household only. At the time of purchase or redemption, your Disney Vacation Club Member ID Card must be provided and ALL ADULTS must present a valid driver's license or state identification card showing they reside in the same household.

From the DVC Member site.

If I order the passes online, will I get the actual APs? Or will I get vouchers?

I don't know that you can even order online, but I confirmed with Member Services more than once that only vouchers are available w/o going to ticketing or guest services.

You will have 2 options if you purchase on-line. You can pay to have exchange vouchers mailed to your or select will call (confirmation number only). Either way you will need to go to a guest relations location at WDW to get your acual AP.

My grandson is 16 yo. and has had an AP since he was 6 yo. He's never been asked for an ID and he spends a ton of time at guest relations when he travels with us (he deactivates his AP several times each trip--cell phone or room key is normally the cause). (He has a school ID and his learners, but no one has ever asked for it). Since his mom is an owner on our contract, he is is eligible for the DVC discount too. This was the one reason why I put my daughter as an owner on my contract. We have two different addresses and she and her family can get APs and me and DH can get APs and you just have to live at one of the two addresses.
