Have the recent AP discounts had less blackout dates than GP offers? Would be nice to lower my trip cost a bit!

This is what I am waiting for too. I am SO CONFUSED about the whole AP thing. I have one, but it is BRAND NEW and the AP site does NOT seem at ALL user-friendly!!! I just looked up the rate for ASMo in May 2014 with NO discount. However, when I switched it from a package to "room only", it said that the room was "no longer available". What the heck does THAT mean???

Also, if you are just doing a room only reservation, do you have to pay for the room all at once or can you still put down the $200 and make payments?

Is there ANYWHERE I can go to read more about the AP and how to get answers besides coming here and bothering the heck out of people???

Room-only reservations, they require you to pay for the first night. So depending on which hotel you're staying at, it could be more or less than $200 The balance is due at check-in but you can pay ahead of that if you'd like.

I know, its going to be a LONG wait I am a first time AP holder as well, we upgraded at the end of our last trip, know we would be going again for another 2 weeks before they would expire. Learning the AP ropes as we go

I was the opposite - I always booked room-only reservations and had it down no problems, but last year I thought I'd be booking a package and the whole room/tickets/dining/deposit/cancel by when?? had me CLUELESS!

We are waiting for January 2014, and May as well!! We just received our vouchers, b/c DP and I are getting married in WDW May, 2014 We are so excited, and getting AP's is great! We are planning to get some great use out of these AP's once we activate them in January!!

Just popped in to check if a new offer was up yet. Glad to hear it may be soon. I'm booked with a room only discount for November, but hoping to do a little bit better. Currently at Pop but if a decent enough discount came out might consider a move to a mod. Not holding out too much hope though as it sounds like it's usually only another 5% or so.

I'm in roughly the same boat - we're booked at AS Movies with a RO discount but hoping for an AP discount. SSSHHH don't tell DD - trip is a surprise for her - we're going to compete in the MouseAdventure World Explorers V - can't wait!!!
