AP Discount

Woke up early this morning in anticipation, and nothing shows for me. Is it too early?

I called right at 7am and they were able to give me rates up to September 26th, but nothing beyond that. She suggested it would be up to 6 weeks for anything beyond that to come out.

Now my dilemna is do I keep free dining package at POFQ for 9 nights at $2311.48 or switch to POR King Rm for 9 nights with AP discount for 5 of the 9 nights for $1673.68 (that rate should decrease some more once they open rates for the remainder of my stay) and (I can't change my dates, flights are booked).

What do all you experts think? That's about $71 a day difference, SEptember will still be hot, maybe we could come out just as good with the discount rather than filling up on all those meals and desserts.

I called because the rate still isn't showing up on the website. My calculations were spot on, and the rate for the Boardwalk was 35% off! I'm happy I can breathe a sigh of relief lol

It was $1090 for 4 nights room only and $1562 total with the dining plan for 2 adults.

I just called and a CM told me the rates did not come out today - call back tomorrow. I'm assuming I got a 'dud' CM.....thoughts?

Just got off for our August Trip - Yacht Club was 35% off with limited availability, Wilderness Lodge was 35% off and Polynesian was 25% off.

Seems to track as a 5% discount off of the general public room only rates for the similar timeframe.

OMG!! I don't know what to do

YC, Poly or stick with my FD at POR...Never stayed MOD and with little ones I don't know if it will be a pain in the bootie. We are going to rent a car because we HAVE to nap little one...Anybody stayed at POR??? What would you guys do?

Yippee - called back and got a different CM - SHE knew the discount was out! Saved another $58 and change over the Disney Visa discount (10 nights AS Music) got to do the math but it looks right.

yes, dates in September. I don't have an active AP (we'll be upgrading again in September) but from what I've been reading / everyone has been posting the Sept AP rates just came out. The first CM I spoke to didn't even know they were out!

We've been patiently / not so patiently for this day!

That's all I'm seeing online, but I could swear I've been seeing this same page with these dates for weeks!

Yes this was a standard room they also had water view for September 5th-9th

So I just got off the phone and there's no availability for the room/resort/dates we have . The CM I spoke to was awesome - she wasn't aware that the discount was out yet either, but she checked for me and said yes, it had just come out this morning. (I think what people were seeing earlier was the general public discount - it covers the same dates, but was about 5% less than the AP).

I'm going to keep checking though - sometimes I've found availability online when I couldn't get it on the phone
