Hello! I was hoping for some help :) I'm planning a trip to DL from October 20th-28th and am planning to buy AP passes. I'd rather wait to buy my passes until September/October if possible, but if there are good hotel discounts then I'd rather just get at least one now and book a room. Could someone pretty please tell me what the rates are for those dates (for GCH and DLH) that would REALLY help my decision! Thank you very much :)

The GCH is not showing rates for the 20, 22, 23 or 25th. The other days show $440 a night and one night shows $510

DLH Nothing showing for the 20th or 24th, other days show $370 and one night $450

PPH shows nothing available for any of those dates.

Thank you so much! That helps immensely! :yay::goodvibes I suppose I can wait to buy an AP then. I can't wait to get one!

Just wanted to add that for your dates it would be $433.25 Avg. a night for Standard at the GCH but for a Woods-Courtyard View it is an Avg. $415.75 a night so it is cheaper for a better view. DLH would an Avg of $332.25 a night for standard. The fall discounts don't usually come out until the beginning of Oct.

Ahhh thank you for that! I shall just wait till Oct. before getting a room then. Should I book an offsite room just in case, you think?

That Woods view at GCH is calling me...I would LOVE to get a room that views the monorail track! I wonder how easy it is to get that view??

Thank you! :goodvibes

What I would do is to book the room you are wanting at a price you willing to pay of course and tell them you want to book with the AP rate and that you will be getting an AP then when the rate comes out in Oct you call and change the rate code for the room you booked they will apply the discount if the room is available and the price you paid when you first called (which is first night plus tax) the difference would roll over to the rest of your stay. I hope that make sense I am a wee bit tired.:) I would request the view you are wanting when you call as well. They will make a note on your reservation and "try" to accommodate you.

I personally, would absolutely not wait till October, to book your room---you run the risk of there not being anything left!

You don't need to have an AP in your possession to book the AP rate(and you don't have to tell them you don't have an AP either, as they don't care)---you just have to show it at check-in, or sometime before you check out, in order to get the AP rate!

Make your reservation now, at the AP rate, watch the rates carefully, then simply call to have your rate modified to the cheaper one, if/when they come out.

You have until 5 days before your arrival to cancel, if a cheaper rate doesn't become available.

If you are worried about paying the higher room rate, I would make a reservation offsite as well, so you will have that already in place, if for some reason lower Fall rates aren't released for the Disney Property Hotels.

October is a very busy/popular month, and rooms at most hotels go quickly!

Good luck!:)

Thank you for your advice!! :goodvibes When you call to book a room, do you have to pay in full 45 days before arrival like they do with packages? Or is it like a normal hotel where I pay upon arrival?

Thank you again!

You are very welcome Renae De Liz!:)

You only have to put down a deposit of the first night's rate(if it's a room only reservation).

You will be billed for the rest at check out.

You will not lose any of that deposit if you need to cancel, as long as you make the cancelation by five working days before arrival.::yes::
