AP Dining Discount Question

I tired using the search to find this answer, but did not have any luck! We are a group of 7 hitting the world this Saturday (myself, DH, DS1, DD, DS2, MIL and FIL). We are staying off site so that we could all stay together.

My in-laws are AP holders so we are hoping that the entire group can take advantage of their AP dining discounts. I know that we can't split checks and that the AP holders have to ask for the check, but could we present 2 forms (gift card and credit card/cash) for payment on the one ticket?

If you have 2 passholders in your group, you should be allowed to split the check and use the discount on each check. We have done this before. We have 2 adult passes in our family (my husband and I) and we took our non passholder friends.

Great! Thank you for this information! This is what we have been trying to figure out. We didn't want to have to figure everything out later but if they will let us split the check and settle up later.

If the non-passholders are the ones with the credit card, they may not allow that. The name on the card is supposed to match the passholder name.

Gift cards don't have a name attached, so no problem if the GC holders are the non-passholders.

While the servers don't always enforce it, I believe the person with the AP card is supposed to be paying for the meal (though I can't find that in writing now). The AP discount is good for the card holder and 3 guests. So as long as you have 2 AP holders you should be good.
