AP Codes

Just to let anyone know:

I was checking out mousesavers.com HISTORICAL discount code release dates....

Last year....

Annual Passholder codes for stays from 4/21/02 - 9/30/02 came out on 1/24/02!!! (expired ???)

"Room Only" for "anyone to use" for stays from 4/21/02 - 6/22/02 came out on 1/26/02!!! (expired 3/17/02)

"Room Only" for "anyone to use" for stays from 6/23/02 - 8/24/02
came out on 4/7/02!!! (expired 5/19/02)

"Room Only" for "anyone to use" for stays from 8/25/02 - 10/2/02 came out 5/25/02!!! (expired 7/8/02)

So far this year....

Annual Passholder codes are out for stays from 1/1/03 - 2/12/03 and expire 2/12/03

"Available to anyone" Room Only codes for stays from 2/17/03 - 4/9/03 are out and expire 1/27/03

Logically this would mean that AP codes for stays up until Sept should come out at the beginning of Feb and the next set of "Available to anyone" Room Only codes (likely the ones up until June) will come out at end of Jan beginning of Feb. I would expect the "Available to anyone" room only codes for June - Aug to be out April!

PLEASE DON'T TAKE THIS AS WRITTEN IN STONE! THESE ARE JUST MY ASSUMPTIONS BASED ON HISTORICAL FACTS.

Not neccessarily..........
Last year was the first year that the AP discounts came out that early for such an extended amount of time (April through Sept!!).
AND....the AP discounts were not that great for that time frame. Many people complained that the codes were just as good or BETTER than the AP discount which in previous years has always been the "best discount you could get"!
And we went in June last year and even though we have APs the newspaper discount codes were much better!

Yes, I am hoping and wishing they come out within the next week, but here's hoping they are a little better than last years!

Hey Tink....just noticed how many times you have been to CSR!! and to CBR.
Do you prefer CSR and why??
Just curious, because we are staying at CSR for the second time in April. I LOVED it the first time. DH did not like the "business" atmosphere But this trip is just me and DD.
I am hoping for the Casistas. Which section is your favorite??

And any other tips, hints or secrets to make our stay better??

Don't get me wrong CBR is nice too (great when I was really young)

I prefer CSR because to me it feels like the theming of a deluxe for a moderate price

My favourite sections to stay in are the Casitas and Cabanas. The Casitas are the ones right beside El Centro and the Cabanas are the ones along the beach. I've stayed in Casitas 3 once and Cabanas 8B, 9A and 9B.

I prefer the Casitas because they are so beautiful! Even if you have a standard view chances are you will be looking at courtyards full or fountains, topiaries etc... They are a bit of a walk to the pool though.

BTW the pool should look great! They are refurbishing it until midway through Feb

Buy the refilable mugs! They are worth their price for sure!!!
How old is you DD?

If you don't want to pay the automatic 10% gratuity on food at the Pepper Market have it as take-out

I also recommed faxing a room request down 4 days ahed of your date of arrival. Request Casitas 3, Cabanas 8B, 9A or 9B they were all wonderful! If you have any other question please feel free to ask Have a great trip
