Ap Code Is Out!

I was able to get an additional $200 off my AAA rate for 6 nights at BWI with the AP code. The code would only get me $5 off the AAA rate for my 3 nights at AKL concierge, so I didn't bother. Let someone else have it. A little taken by surprise by the code coming out this early. But happy I don't have to keep checking.

How did you get the AP rate for 24 nights in a consecutive stay?

We had to make three reservations but they hooked it together for us so we stay in same room......woohoo

Did anyone get Concierge discounts? I may have missed it above but when I called yesterday I couldn't get one for our October concierge stay at WL or any Concierge during our dates (unless the GF Honeymoon Turret room comes with concierge).

And they don't have any AAA discounts for Concierge either.

But I'll keep trying.......

My TA just said she can't get any AP discounts for WL 12/9-12/16 - anyone else have luck with those dates?

We were going to buy an AP based on the room discounts being available...but it's crazy that less than 24 hours later, there's NOTHING?!

I had no luck with the Contemporary today for about the same dates, with neither AP or FL resident codes. I could have got a room for $20 less a night than rack rate, but would have been King bed and we need the two doubles.

We were unable to get AP discounts for 12/9 thru 12/17. We canceled our reserevations and are now at the Poly. Since we have never stayed at the Poly, it seemed like a good time for a change.

From reading everyone's posts, it looks like a lot of people weren't able to get a WL discount either. It that pretty much standard, that WL discounts are hard to come by?

Just wanted to say how EXCITED we are for our 12-1-2006 to 12-6-2006
AKL Holiday Trip. We have gone a few times during the week right before
Christmas and it was AWESOME but extremely crowded. This year we decided to go early but looks like it will still be extremely busy. No worries as long as we see the MOUSE! Thanks to whoever started this board a few days ago. It enabled us to stay at a Deluxe for the first time! YIPPEE!!

I lost out on the AP rate for my Poly res in Dec., and was told nothing else but concierge in the other resorts was available either on Wed. Spurred by the DIS experts, I checked again today and just booked got the BWI at an AP rate - $76 less per might than I had at the Poly!! Bonus: I've never stayed there before

So keep checking those discounts folks - you never know what will turn up!

Ok... it's getting close to the 2wk point where people have to put deposits down on the rooms they are holding with the discount. If people decide not to go with those reservations, are those rooms released with the discount still attached (either AP or AAA)? Or can they decide whether or not they are still offering them with a discount?
(i.e. is it worth it to keep calling about my Dec ressies?)

i think it is worth checking again. today the akl became available for my dates in oct for both the package code and ap code. it isn't what i want but gives me hope to keep checking back.

Yes, I got my king room today at POFQ -- which opened up today -- there was nothing all along -- I know because I was checking every day!

I tried again today. The only deluxe available for Nov. 29 - Dec 3rd is Animal Kingdom Lodge.

I'll stick with the Dolphin.
