AP and Dining Plan, Can this be done?

We are trying to decide if we should upgrade our tickets when we go on our trip in June to an AP, but we have the DDP for that trip and are planning on having it on our trip in Dec. I am finding mixed information if we can have room reservations, AP, and the dining plan. We did use a pin for both reservations so I don't know if that goes into play or not. We are going for 8 days in June and 5 days in December. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You can upgrade the tickets from the first package with dining plan to APs, no problem. On the second trip you can get an AP ticketless package with the dining plan.

Just to chime in, if you're going to reserve the AP tickeless package (room plus dining) online, you'll need to go through the AP website. There is a link on the bottom of the Passholder Offers webpage (Resort Hotels tab). I missed it the first time I looked.

Are there any blackout dates for AP holders?

No, there are not. But there must be availability at the resort you want for the dates you want.

Thanks so much for all of the responses. I think we will go ahead and get the AP when we go in June!!! We could always make a trip next year before our expiration date!
